Every project starts with a real problem and a real person. Here's how I approached three of them — the why behind the work, and what I learned along the way.

YouScent
67% of users felt locked out of fragrance by expert jargon. Interviews and a competitive audit traced it to a product built for enthusiastic people. I designed an emotion-driven input model — mood, intensity, personal notes — that swaps jargon for memory and feeds a personalised, AI-generated fragrance story.

Tech4U
Adult learners drop off when platforms ignore cognitive variability. As Lead UX Designer I owned research through delivery, building a platform that adapts to the learner — anchored by a Soft Mode that adjusts UI density, pacing, and cognitive load on demand. Shipped WCAG 2.1 AA screens and a Figma component library for handoff.

This Portfolio
Treated the portfolio as a real design problem: defined the audience, mapped the information architecture, prototyped in Figma, then built it in vanilla HTML, CSS, and JavaScript — no frameworks. Engineered to WCAG 2.2 AA with a custom dark mode, scroll animations, and a sub-2s load.
